One of the animated series that has marked several generations since the 90s is The Simpsons, and not only for moments that have remained in the memory of millions, but also for situations that are considered predictions, and the last one is the situation that lives with the disappearance of the Titan Submarine.
Do not miss
The submersible, owned by the Oceangate company, was carrying out an expedition in the place where the Titanic sank in 1912, with five crew members on board, who had oxygen for 96 hours.
However, since Sunday June 18, no contact with the submarine communication was lost, which would be with the minutes counted before the oxygen runs out.
Social networks were quick to link this incident to an episode of The Simpsons, which in Latin Spanish was titled El Padre de Homero, corresponding to season number 17.

In this episode, after letters from 40 years ago are discovered, Homer believes he is the son of a millionaire adventurer named Mason Fairbanks, with whom he embarks on a submarine expedition. Homer gets stuck and the oxygen starts to run out.
Fortunately, Mason rescues Homer, who spends three days in a coma in a hospital, before discovering that Abraham Simpson has always been his father.
Some passages from The Simpsons episodes have made several of their hair stand on end for being a kind of prediction of what happens.
From an image that “predicted” the attacks of September 11, 2001 in the United States, to the war between Russia and Ukraine, although the producer of the series, Al Jean, pointed out that these are sad coincidences.
“There is the type of prediction, where we refer to something that has happened, that it will happen again; we hope it doesn’t happen, but unfortunately it does”.
