Did you like the song Billie Eilish did for the latest James Bond movie? No Time To Die? Well, how do you see that the theme for that movie was going to be made by Ed Sheeran, or at least that was what he said in the podcast of former English soccer player Peter Crouch.
According to the author of photographyI had even started writing the song when plans started to change! Another director came first and he made other decisions, which included Billie Eilish and not Ed. The end result was a rollononón that won a Grammy, a Golden Globe and an Oscar. Not bad for Billie, but surely a thorn was stuck in our spoiled British singer.
Far from being bitter, Ed Sheeran took it philosophically, because he knows that this kind of thing happens all the time. He even commented that he is ready in case they make him the offer again, which is not far from happening, because he was very good with the first approach he had with the producers of the James Bond movies.
We know that the interpreters of the themes of the James Bond movies are artists who are having a great time. On that list have been Sam Smith, Adele and Billie Eilish herself, to name a few. Taking that into account, Ed Sheeran should always be considered.
For their part, Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson, the producers of this highly successful series of films, said they have not yet begun the search for the next James Bond. No Time To Die It was the last film Daniel Craig made as agent 007, so the priority is to find the next actor for that role. Whoever sings the theme song for the next installment in the series can still wait, but everyone knows that Ed Sheeran already has his work cut out for him and his hand raised.
