Valladolid is the capital of Castilla y León but, at the beginning of the 17th century, it was the capital of Spain for five years. In recent times, it has been completely renovated and with the arrival of the AVE it has become the perfect getaway destination. Strolling through the Plaza Mayor, enjoying with the children in the Campo Grand or getting to know its important museums are some of the activities that can be done. However, we cannot forget its gastronomy either…
We cannot ignore its tapas, since various contests for these miniature delicacies are held in Valladolid throughout the year and the city has become a benchmark of quality skewers. In addition to tapas, Valladolid’s cuisine is famous for its suckling lamb, the star product that makes the palate fall in love. Of course, always without leaving a fortune.
