With the box office and critical success of The Batman, Warner Bros. gave the green light to the production of the second part, which is already in the writing process, as confirmed by director Matt Reeves, in an interview with Collider.
“We’re working on a movie…we’re in it and my partner and I are writing, Mattson [Tomlin] and I are writing, and it’s really exciting, and I’m very excited about what we’re doing.”.
Reeves pointed out that he cannot wait for the moment when he once again joins forces with Robert Pattinson to start shooting the second part of The Batman, whose release date has not yet been defined.
“I’m really excited to do that with Rob, because I think he’s a very special person and actor.”
Would Hush make it to The Batman sequel?
One of the stories that could be adapted to the big screen is that of Hush, published between Batman numbers 608 and 619, which were published between the months of October 2002 and September 2003.

The Batman will star Robert Pattinson as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Zoe Kravitz as Selina Kyle/Catwoman, Paul Dano as Edward Nashton/The Riddler, Colin Farrell as Oswald Cobblepot/The Penguin, and John Turturro as crime boss Carmine Falcone.
