Mediaset is already preparing for the end of the year: the conglomerate has announced its decision to entrust the Chimes of 2022-2023 to Risto Mejide and Mariló Monterowho will take over from Carlos Sobera and Paz Padilla.
Goodbye, 2023!
The New Year Bells are an event marked on the calendar of each chain. The Mediaset group has already chosen the two in charge of saying goodbye to this 2022 and welcoming 2023: Risto Mejide and Mariló Montero will act as masters of ceremonies next December 31.
The presenters of ‘Everything is a lie’the Cuatro program that analyzes current affairs and fake news from humor, confirmed during yesterday’s broadcast that they would be in charge of hosting this New Year’s Eve gala and accompanying viewers during the last minutes of 2022.
Mejide and Montero will join the last audience war of the year and will compete to be the most followed gala against RTVE and the Atresmedia group. This program will be broadcast on all channels belonging to Mediaset, with the exception of Boing.
This will be the bet break the losing streak that the group has had in the Chimes in recent years, without achieving leadership with any of its finery. In the Chimes of 2021-2022, Antena 3 won the victory with a considerable distance from TVE, in second place, which in turn surpassed Telecinco in third place by more than 3,000 viewers.
We will see if Mejide and Montero work as a claim and improve the audience data from last year. ‘Everything is a lie’ is broadcast from Monday to Friday, from 3:45 p.m. to 5:45 p.m.
