King Carlos, who assumed power after the death of Queen Elizabeth II, has taken various actions that have given a lot to talk about and one of them is related to the austerity of his reign, since he wants to reduce the expenses of the british crown.
As part of these measures is his resignation to a million-dollar mansion in Carmarthenshire, Wales and which is valued at about $1,500,000 dollars
The property, which was acquired in 2007 and which was one of the rest houses of the current monarch, ceased to be of interest to him due to its high maintenance costs.
“During his adulthood llwynywermod It has undoubtedly been the property in which he has spent the most time, but now, with much more important obligations, he will hardly be able to reside on the farm. One night a year, Carlos III and Camila organized a musical and artistic evening during their holidays in the region”, reports the Spanish newspaper El País.
The decision made with the property will cause all members of the British crown to have to stay in hotels during their visits to Wales, as it will pass into the hands of the Duchy of Cornwall, and they will be in charge of deciding what use they give it.
“The Princes of Wales, through their spokespersons, have reported that they will not use the farm when they travel to the country, but will stay at hotels in the area to help and boost the local economy. Therefore, it remains in the hands of the administration of the dukedom and they can rent it or get the performance from it in the way they consider, if they want to”, reports the same newspaper.
