Indiba: this is the most demanded beauty treatment

As part of a range of regenerative radiofrequency treatments, Indiba is used for a wide range of therapeutic applications. The most famous influencers use this treatment to show off sculptural bodies, but does it really work?

Radiofrequency therapy, also called radiofrequency skin tightening, is a non-surgical method of tightening the skin. The procedure involves the use of energy waves to heat the deep layer of the skin known as the dermis. This heat stimulates collagen production. Collagen is the most common protein in the body. It creates the framework of the skin and gives the skin its firmness.

As we age, cells produce less collagen, which leads to sagging skin and wrinkles. Skin laxity occurs between the ages of 35 and 40, when the quantity and quality of collagen begin to decline.

Radiofrequency therapy has been used since 2001 to fight sagging skin and signs of aging. However, Indiba seems to have revolutionized the market again.

    What is the Indiba treatment?

Indiba treatment is non-invasive and can show remarkable results from the first session. Using state-of-the-art medical technology, it uses high-frequency currents to raise the internal temperature of human tissue.

Indiba therapy will provide the body with more energy, while optimizing ion exchange to balance the electrical potential of the tissue.

The skin is affected by gravity, with wrinkles that appear naturally due to aging. We can also start to see unwanted fat including cellulite and adiposity in the body. If this is the case, treatment with Indiba can help with this.

With regular treatments, it is particularly effective in treating the following:

    • Aging or sagging skin
    • Expression lines
    • Stretch marks
    • Bags under the eyes and dark circles
    • Dewlap
    • Cellulitis
    • varicose veins
    • Tired legs
    • firm buttocks

Having been clinically evaluated in several medical centers, the result has been very positive by patients. On average, regular treatments have resulted in 82% cellulite reduction, 87% skin tightening, 90% body shaping, and 95% pre- and post-surgery.

    Benefits

The main benefits of radiofrequency therapy are skin tightening and wrinkle removal. However, radiofrequency therapy can also help combat sun damage due to its ability to stimulate collagen production.

    Fight against sun damage

Exposure to ultraviolet rays can cause the collagen fibers in the skin to break down and become disorganized.

One study found that three months of radiofrequency treatment led to clinically significant improvements in a small group of people with mild to moderate signs of sun damage.

    body contour

Indiba therapy can help tighten loose skin on your body by stimulating collagen production.

One study found that 24 of 25 people who underwent 5 to 8 sessions of radiofrequency therapy saw an improvement in their body shape. Additionally, 23 people were happy with their results.

    face contour

A small investigation examined the effect of Indiba combined with pulsed electromagnetic therapy for 8 weeks.

The researchers found a significant improvement in facial skin laxity in all 11 participants, with 73 percent of them having improvements in facial contour.

    Wrinkles and fine lines

One study looked at the effect of radiofrequency therapy on wrinkles around the eyes of 70 middle-aged women. The researchers found that three treatments over 6 weeks significantly reduced their wrinkles.

    slimming face

Radiofrequency treatment has the potential to be used as a non-surgical method of slimming the face. One study looked at the effect of using radiofrequency therapy to break down fat in the lower face of 14 middle-aged Asian women. After 5 weeks, more than 90 percent of the women had fat reduction and 60 percent were satisfied or very satisfied with their results.

The only side effect observed was a slight redness several hours after the procedure.

    indiba radiofrequency works

    Does it really work?

When we decide on Indiba therapy, there will be two modes of operation of proionic radiofrequency:

    • Capacitive (CAP): This focuses on the superficial soft tissue of the body; and is more suitable for superficial and vascularized tissue.
    • Resistive (RES): It is more suitable for fat, thick and fibrotic tissue.

The professional will apply a cream to your skin and will place an electrode on the lymphatic drainage points in the sections of the body that we are going to treat.

First, the capacitive mode will be used to remove any toxic residue from the system, before switching to the resistive frequency, to treat the lower levels of your skin and keep it smooth.

Although the benefits can usually be seen from the first treatment with Indiba, it may be beneficial to have several treatments. Experts recommend having a follow-up treatment within 3-4 weeks after the first, followed by maintenance treatment every 4-6 weeks.

Depending on the condition of the skin, this treatment can be completed between 25 and 50 minutes. During this process, a specialized machine will be used to heat the innermost layer of the skin. If we are doing it on the neck and other areas of the body, it will take a little time. But for the most part, it’s a pretty quick process.

We may see some redness during the first 24 hours after the procedure, but it is not dangerous. The quick payback period means less aftercare responsibilities on the part and quick results.

If you ask us if Indiba works, the answer is yes. By safely and gradually increasing the temperature of parts of the body, it allows the correct movement of ions through the cell membrane, which increases circulation and stimulates collagen production.

Can I undergo the Indiba treatment?

Not everyone can undergo Indiba therapy. For example, if we are pregnant or we have an electronic implant like a pacemaker, not recommended. Treatment also cannot be offered if the targeted body area has an open wound or burns; or if we have a prosthesis such as a hip or knee replacement. if we have had Botoxwe can receive treatments with Indiba, but it must be done at least 21 days after the injection.

It should be borne in mind that if the procedure is performed incorrectly, it is possible to get burned. The most common side effects include: temporary swelling, redness, and tingling.

People with darker skin are at higher risk of side effects from laser and radiofrequency treatments.

The form of Indiba radiation used during this procedure is similar to the type of radiation emitted by other common household devices such as mobile phones or WiFi. Although the long-term effects of low-energy radiation are not fully understood, there has been no conclusive evidence at this time to suggest that RF radiation poses a health risk to people.
