Fresh from Coachella, where his wife performed, Lele Pons, already days of going on stage together at the 2023 Latin American Music Awards, we spoke with Guaynaa, who confesses to us that, participating in this award, now on Univision: “It’s more than a blessing after we got married.”
As we tell you, We are here at the Latin AMAs rehearsals, to bring you everything that is happeningbefore the great debut of the awards in Univision, UniMás and Galavisión, this coming Thursday, April 20, beginning with the ‘Night of Stars’ at 7/6 PM Central, followed by the gala at 8/7 PM Central.
At the end of your essaywe spoke with Guaynaa, who told us about the Coachella experience, how he prepares to participate in the Latin AMAswhere they will premiere a song from the album that they recorded with Lele, and that will be released that same Thursday and even tells us what we cannot miss.
-From Coachella to Latin America Music Awards, how do you live?
Guyana: Well at the top, we are having a wonderful time, living to the fullest, we are very happy and very grateful with the real chance.
-How was Coachella? how did they live it?
Guyana: Coachella is such a journey of creativity, especially the girls, obviously my wife and friends, we men believe that in essence we are easier beings, in the good sense of the word. The girls have cute little details, the color of the eyes, the hair, the braid… So many things that one really says, wow, they have a lot of creativity that involves the outfit for a single day, the other day is a totally different outfit, with many more things and I enjoy that, I enjoy seeing them shining, seeing them looking spectacularand preparing for such a beautiful date…
There we were enjoying, many people from the community, the world of entertainment as a whole, both from the American side and from the Latin American side.and the section where we were was very cool, because if you got tired, we all sat down, and it was like a picnic… Obviously seeing our colleagues also play on stage, Bad Bunny who is the first Latin ‘Head Line’ in history, super proud.
-It is that we Latinos have more and more strength, you are in scenarios where they seemed impossible…
Guyana: correct yes, because a totally Anglo setting and the fact that there is now a Latino leading one of the cartelsIt’s a great achievement, you know, it’s like when the Mexican Regional began to have repercussions in other countries, or like when regaetón began to have repercussions in other countries, the programs for the best, the most important television programs, that’s how we we should now all feel together for having a Latino in the most important space of that festival, which is one of the largest in the United States and in the world.
-And now at the Latin American Music Awards, which will also be a super strong stage for us Latinos, with a new home, Univisión.
Guyana: You do not know how excited I am with the Univision family, very grateful but for me to be on the stage of the Latin American Music Awards, it’s more than a blessing, especially after we got marriedto come with this record project, which comes out the same day, comes out on Thursday, I think it is more than a privilege, to be on this stage sharing… Then we have the tribute to Carlos Vives too, super privileged, my mom still haven’t told herbut she’s going to be very proud, she’s going to be there, I see her there with the glass in her hand.
-For those who are watching, what can’t you miss? In what detail do they have to be aware?
Guyana: Look, they have to be waiting for the choreography, the second song because the second song is coming out now, on Thursday, it’s a premiere of the second single from our albumand we have spectacular choreography, dancers, the scenery for me is the favorite of the entire event, of the entire show, so you can’t miss itwe have a super cute ending there for you.
