Featherweight appeared on Jimmy Fallon’s ‘The Tonight Show’ as part of the barrage of hits you’ve had for the past few months. In the important American television space, he made history as the first regional Mexican singer to attend.
To appear at the famous show to sing his hit ‘Ella Baila Sola’, Hassan Emilio Kabande Laija, known in the music industry as Featherweight, He wore a luxurious jacket as part of his urban ‘outfit’.
The jacket and jeans worn by the lying down corrido artist to attend the program are from the brand Louis Vuitton.
According to the brand’s website, the jacket that had “L” and “V” on it would cost the artist $4,650.00 dollars.
On the night of April 28, the 23-year-old made his artistic appearance on the show when Jimmy Fallon said: “Here, in her US television debut, performing the number one Latin song in the country, ‘Ella Baila Sola.’ A round of applause for Featherweight.”
The singer from Jalisco was not interviewed by Jimmy Fallon, however, it is still an important achievement for the regional Mexican music that had not had space in the important program until now.
Featherweight has become one of the leaders of the Mexican lying down corridos according to the reproductions that their songs have had globally on platforms such as Spotify.
The song ‘Ella Baila Sola’ is one of the most played songs not only in the United States and Mexico, but also in Spain, Portugal, Germany, Israel, Finland, Denmark, France, Belgium, Hong Kong and even in the United Arab Emirates.
