in the hit movie “Elvis” a combination can be heard (mash up) of the musical pieces “Long live Vegas” of Elvis Presley Y “toxic” of Britney Spears; however, the theme does not appear in the soundtrackso that the director of the film, Baz Luhrmann, has set himself a goal to please the fans of both artists.
In an interview with rolling stone the Australian filmmaker commented that he is currently working on officially releasing that remixwhich has been acclaimed both by admirers of the king of rock and roll as for those of pop princess. “It is my passion and commitment to bring all parties involved together to get (the song) ready for fans.because I know that Britney and Elvis themselves are, in many ways, connected in their own different ways,” he said.
The soundtrack of “Elvis” includes music stars like Chris Isaac, Stevie Nicks, Eminem Y Jack White; the album has so far spawned one hit single, “Vegas”interpreted by Doja Cat. Baz once compared Britney to Elvis, commenting, “Just like Britney, who creates the quintessential ’90s pop music, you’re richer than God and in the Hollywood bubble. That’s what happens to Elvis. He went from being this rebel, this punk, deeply steeped in his black music friends making radical music, to suddenly being isolated in Hollywood making pop.”
