It seems that the return of Damian Lewis as Bobby Axelrod is also for the purpose of close the series. The American channel Showtime has revealed the season 7 release date of ‘Billions’, his financial drama, also confirming that it will be his last.
In this way it will be from August 13 (in Spain we imagine that via Movistar Plus+ simultaneously) when let’s see the first of the final episodes of the series in which Ax’s return to the fore will be central as enemies become friends and betrayals reach epic proportions.
Farewell with spin-offs up his sleeve
Along with Lewis as Axelrod, the final season of ‘Billions’ will feature Paul Giamatti, Corey Stoll and Maggie Stiff as leading quartet. Joining them are David Costabile, Asia Kate Dillon, Dola Rashad, Jeffrey DeMunn, Sakina Jaffrey, Daniel Breaker and Toney Goins.
Composed of twelve episodes, this latest installment of the series features Brian Koppelman, David Levien, and Beth Schacter like showrunners. Of course, the fact that the series is going to end does not mean the end of the franchise since, as you will remember, at the beginning of the year a handful of spin-offs were announced, taking us to various places and billionaires.
