We are not going to tell you about the great masterpiece that is Coconut. Because it is. not just like one of the best declarations of love to the family in the history of cinemabut because it is without hesitation one of The best movies Pixar has ever made.
It won the Oscar for Best Animated Film, and Disney could not get more right with this beautiful story set in Mexico and inspired by its famous Day of the Dead that, I confess, has become my plan for Halloween since it was released in 2017.
Seeing her makes me want to go back to Mexico (an urge that I have to remedy by looking for a good taco place in Madridbecause of search for cheap flights It’s not always easy) and it reminds me of how beautiful cinema can tell a story.
As it happens with Love Actually at Christmas, every time October 31 comes around, I enjoy Coconut one more time. And with each visualization I discover a new wonder between his lines, this time with the protagonist’s guitar.
Attention, SPOILERS alert: If you haven’t seen Coco’s movie, don’t continue reading. To, open the app Disney+ on TV and enjoy this wonder because from here on I’m going to gut the ending for you.

But not Hector. He has a gold tooth just like the one he is painted on the guitar, so from the beginning we had the great mystery of the film right under our noses. The guitar is not actually Ernesto’s, but Héctor’s.
Boom.
We had it in front of our eyes even before seeing the movie, with the sign:
And now that we’ve discovered that we knew all along who Miguel’s true ancestor was, we can go enjoy some good tacos al pastor and a bread of the dead.
