It was during an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, where Tom was promoting his new series ‘The Crowded Room’ in New York, where he took the opportunity to reveal some romantic details about his relationship with Zendaya.
The Spider-Man actor surprised fans by assuring that his 6-year relationship with Zendaya is “sacred”:
“Our relationship is something that we are incredibly protective of and want to keep as sacred as possible,” he explained. “We don’t think we owe it to anyone, it’s up to us and it has nothing to do with our careers.”
Tom attended the event alone, so the reporters did not hesitate to ask him about the absence of the actress, since both have attended various events together to support each other.
“We’ve been to events together before, but she’s visiting her grandmother,” Tom said. “We’re two very busy people and we’re on opposite sides of the world right now, so she couldn’t come.”
