Through the social networks of the mayor of Guanajuato, Alejandro Navarro, it was announced that the Mexican actor Alonso Echánove with more than 50 years of experience in show business he died on the night of November 30, 2022.
Local media reported that the man died at the Aranda de la Parra Hospital in León, Guanajuato state, Mexico. Alonso Echánove was born on August 28, 1954 in the city of Guanajuato, Mexico. His mother was the also actress Josefina Echánove, and brother of Peggy Echánove and María del Sol, a well-known Mexican singer with more than 30 years of recording career.
Who was Alonso Echánove?
Before becoming a famous actor, Alonso was addicted to drugs. His first contact with them was marijuana around the age of 14, but he worsened in his adulthood with others such as cocaine or crack. For that reason he came to see his life in danger on the verge of a heart attack. Throughout his life he went to hospitals and psychiatric institutions that could not help him.
Its greatest period was from approximately 1985 to 1997; a total of nine soap operas and up to 30 movies had their star participationin addition to winning a total of two awards as the Best Mexican Actor of the Time, and two other nominations, but then came the debacle.
On August 7, 1996, the actor suffered a stroke. His sister María del Sol took him to the hospital, where they assured them that it would be a miracle if he could speak again or eat food on his own. Fortunately, he survived and made an almost full recovery. In total he suffered 6 heart attacks.
