And we continue for bingo with the Star Wars news. After learning the release date of season 2 of ‘Andor’, and the new trio of promising films, Lucasfilm has revealed the first trailer and the release date on Disney + of ‘Ahsoka’, its next original series.
It will be in August when we see the new adventures of Rosario Dawson in the flesh after ‘The Mandalorian’ and company. In addition, it has been revealed that the villain that the (ex?) Jedi will face is neither more nor less than the heir of the Empire himself, grand admiral thrawn (who we already saw in ‘Rebels’).
Of course, we only managed to see him from behind. Those that we do see in the footage are all Sabine Wren (Natasha Liu Bordizzo) Hera Syndulla (Mary Elizabeth Winstead) ezra (Eman Esfandi) already Ray Stevenson as Baylan; the series also stars David Tennant as Huyang and Hayden Christensen as Anakin Skywalker.
Plans for more seasons

Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni continue to do tandem for this new series, whose idea is not to stay in a single season:
“It drives towards a goal, in my mind, rather than just little one-off adventures. That’s what I want the character to do and I think that’s what the fans want now. They have so much to do with her. It’s only recently that I’ve begun to understand that all the kids who saw ‘The Clone Wars’ are now much older and very excited about the things they grew up with, as they should be.”
