More than 40 Shakira items will be presented in the exhibition that the Grammy Museum is preparing.

In the midst of the furor that has caused Shakira with the theme “Music sessions #53” The Grammy Museum in Los Angeles has announced an exhibition celebrating the singer’s musical career.spanning more than two decades.
The exhibition, which will be titled “Shakira, Shakira: The Grammy Museum Experience” (“Shakira, Shakira: The Grammy Museum Experience”) It will be open to the public from March 4 and will be permanent. It will be located in the Galería de la Música Latina and will present more than 40 articles related to the Colombian artist, such as song lyrics written by herself; guitars -both acoustic and electric- and various costumes, among them the ones she wore in her presentation during the halftime of the super bowl in 2020.

Jason Emmonshead of the curatorship, expressed the importance of presenting an exhibition of Shakira at the Grammy Museum: “Shakira is a rare superstar who has discovered a way to continue to evolve as an artist while her audience grows along with her. She is a serious music student, and the Grammy Museum is pleased to offer a dynamic exhibit that reflects her intelligence and her art.



for his part Shakira issued a statement reflecting her happiness at the exhibition: “It is an honor that the journey of my career is displayed in the Grammy Museum. These pieces are a testament to so many indelible moments that I treasure, and I am so happy to be able to relive these memories with those who have supported me and continue to support me as an artist.”
