Amid a storm of accusations, Jonathan Majors’ lawyer shared New Evidence And Comments From Marvel Actor’s Girlfriend Refuting Assault Allegations after his arrest. The ‘Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania’ star was taken into police custody and charged with assault on the morning of March 25 in a New York City apartment. The actor’s attorney issued a statement shortly after his arrest, saying he is “completely innocent and likely the victim.”
However, the investigation is still ongoing and Majors has received much criticism following the news of the assault charge. In a statement shared with The Direct, Jonathan Majors’ criminal defense attorney, Priya Chaudhry, clarified that the actor “completely denies” the assault allegations against his girlfriend, noting that Majors himself called 911 to the police concerned about his mental health:
“Mr. Majors completely denies assaulting the woman. At around 11 a.m. on March 25, 2023, Jonathan Majors called 911 concerned about the woman’s mental health.”
Chaudry shared that Majors’ arrest was part of an NYPD protocol that required it under “certain circumstances.” He also mentioned that was Majors’ girlfriend then texted admitting she used “physical force against him” (actually in the message it only says that they had a fight (nde):
“Police arrived with paramedics, as is standard procedure, and arrested Mr. Majors due to an NYPD protocol that required arrest in certain circumstances. That same day, just 7 and 9 hours later, the woman texted Mr. Majors. admitting that she was the one who used physical force against him.”

The lawyer went on to say that Majors’ girlfriend “rejected any allegations” of wrongdoing by the actor, indicating that the situation was “[su] guilt for trying to grab [su] phone“, which allegedly caused their dispute that led to the arrest, and confirmed the narrative that Majors initially called the police:
“She also denied any accusation that he had done anything to her and confirmed that Mr. Majors called 911 due to his mental condition. These are those messages, redacting the woman’s name for her privacy.”
