We have already passed halfway through the final season of ‘Succession’ and as for the HBO series we already have a warning that we reserve a good spot on Monday to watch the latest episodes. Especially the final chapter since this will be the longest of the Roy drama.
Specifically, it has been revealed that the end of ‘Succession’ it will last 90 minutes. This is how it appears in the programming of the American chain and is also confirmed by Nicholas Britell, the Emmy-winning composer, who says: “It’s a huge episode, like a movie”.
These 90 minutes represent a record for the HBO series, whose longest episode so far it was the end of season 2, entitled ‘It’s not like crying’ and that “barely” lasted 66 minutes. However, this is going to be “nothing” compared to the duration of the three episodes that will fire the Roy saga.
A duration on the rise
Specifically, the duration of the next episodes of ‘Succession’ will be as follows:
- 4×07 – ‘tail gate party‘ (5/7/2023): 60 minutes
- 4×08 – ‘America Decides‘ (5/14/2023): 67 minutes
- 4×09 – ‘Church and State‘ (5/21/2023): 76 minutes
- 4×10 – ‘With Open Eyes‘ (5/28/2023): 90 minutes
Jesse Armstrong will be in charge of writing the final three episodes, with Mark Mylod getting behind the cameras in the last two, while andrij parekh is in charge of the direction of the eighth.
Of course, at the moment we do not know what awaits them Shiv, Kendall and Roman in the following episodes. For now, this week’s episode has closed with the presentation of Living+ and how that seems to affect the purchase by Matsson.
