Great news for fans of ‘The Simpson‘, as it was recently revealed that Season 33 of the iconic series will hit Disney+ screens on October 5.
the unexpected news was shared during “D23 Expo: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event”at the hands of the members of the creative team and dubbing actors that make up this production.
It should be noted that The announcement follows the release of “Welcome to the Club”, an exclusive short film to the streaming service and that focuses on the eldest daughter of this unique Springfield family: Lisa.
In less than 10 minutes, the audience follows the adventures of Lisa when she decides to become a princess. However, the girl is surprised to learn that being bad is more fun.
“Welcome to the Club” is part of the celebrations prepared by Disney+ for its subscribers at the Disney+ Day event, and the closure with a gold clasp is the foray of the 33rd season of this famous series to the catalog of the entertainment giant.
For his part, showrunner Al Jean assured in an interview for ComicBook that this new installment of ‘The Simpsons’ maintains the essence that has captivated the public for more than a decade.
“I think it’s as good as anything we’ve ever done. And I mean objectively. We’re also nominated for a short, Billie Eilish’s, and that’s exciting. So I can’t really be objective, but i know we work as hard as we can and care as much as ever“, he detailed.
