Sometimes the world of cinema is more similar to ‘Save me’, but there are issues for which all of us -almost without exception- bring out our inner commentator. For example, with ‘Star wars’, a movie we always think we know everything about… And from which, from time to time, we receive information that we did not know. We already knew that Carrie Fisher and Harrison Ford had an affair during filming despite the fact that he was 14 years older than her and he was married, but it is inevitable to think… And meanwhile, what happened to Mark Hamill?
The kissing of the galaxies
Five years ago, the actor confessed in an interview with The Guardian that, as if it were the set of ‘Physics or chemistry’, Fisher and he had also ended up kissing, although it didn’t go overboard.. In addition, Hamill had no idea that Ford was also part of this love triangle that crossed the screen: “I’m glad he didn’t know, because probably would have affected me. When I found out about it, I just thought it was hilarious.”
Carrie and I were attracted to each other, but I already knew from previous work that it would have been a bad idea. But Carrie and I find excuses. I remember one time (probably with alcohol involved) when we were talking about kissing techniques. I said, “Well, I guess I’m a good kisser. I like women to come to me instead of being aggressive.” And she said, “What do you mean?” Well, the next thing I remember, we were making out like teenagers!
Luckily, things did not go further: “We realized what we were doing and we started laughing”. The anecdote would remain here if it were not for a small detail that points to the end: “It was unfortunate for me, because the rocket launch sequence had already started“. Mark Hamill, the subtle one.
