The Star Wars saga will never end, as they intend to create new movies, series, comics, novels, and video games until the end of days.
fans of starwars are celebrating the arrival of Obi-Wan Kenobi to the streaming platform Disney Plus. But also, the president of LucasFilm, kathleen kennedyis clear that as long as there are good stories to tell, the saga will never end.
“We continue to expand with The Mandalorian. Ashoka is the next iteration of that. And then what Jon Watts is doing with his show. He gives us different places in the timeline to look at, because there is this persistent Star Wars story. That is what we are building. So instead of thinking that we’re just going to do a one-off story, we’re constantly thinking about what this really means within the long saga and mythology that George Lucas created. So Star Wars will go on forever, to be perfectly honest. If we have good storytellers, it will go on forever.” Said kathleen kennedy.
The saga has found its place in streaming.
When Disney I buy LucasFilm they made the three new films of starwars which were quite divisive. But with the arrival of The Mandalorian a Disney Plus, all the fans rediscovered the passion for the franchise. For this reason, more and more series are coming to the platform and they are not shooting movies. Although it is true that there are several projects underway, but it is clear that they are taking it much more calmly.
Now we can see Obi-Wan Kenobi, a series that focuses on a time between Episode VI and Episode VII. Therefore, the Jedi are almost extinct and the Empire is becoming more powerful. then it will come Ashok Tano and the third season of The Mandalorian. But in addition, there are already some plans to take the action away from the Skywalker saga and show many new events.
All movies and series starwars are available in the Disney Plus streaming platform.
