The Silent Hill saga returns loaded with news, from a couple of new games, a remake and a movie and an interactive series.
The Silent Hill Transmission has ended, the streaming loaded with news with which Konami showed off with lovers of the franchise. Here’s what’s coming for the horror and survival saga that has dominated the field for more than 20 years.

Silent Hill 2 Remake
Bloober Team, the same creators of Layers of Fears and The Medium, are in charge of resurrecting for PS5 and PC one of the most renowned video games in history, modernizing its gameplay.
Synopsis: After receiving a letter from his deceased wife, James heads to the place where they shared so many memories in the hope of seeing her one more time: Silent Hill. There, by the lake, he finds a disturbing woman who looks just like her… ‘My name is… Maria,’ says the woman, smiling. Her face, her voice… her It’s just like her. She enjoys a master class in psychological survival horror. Hailed as the best installment in the series, he discovers chilling visuals and visceral sound on the latest hardware.
Silent Hill Townfall
This will be a new video game for the franchise, developed by the Scottish studio No Code, creators of Stories Untold (2017) and Observation (2019), and to be published by Annapurna Interactive. They did not advance, dates or platforms, but surely there will be more news soon.

Silent Hill F
Another novelty that caught the most attention was “F”, the video game developed by the Taiwanese studio Neobards Entertainment, responsible for Resident Evil Re:Verse. Among the few firsts that were given was that the story will be written by Ryukishi07, a popular Japanese novelist, and will be set in 1960s Japan.
Synopsis: Silent Hill will be a completely new story set in 1960s Japan, where a beautiful but terrifying world is presented. Written by Ryūkishi07, famous for his Japanese visual novels dealing with murder mysteries, psychological horror, and the supernatural.
Return to Silent Hill
Christophe Gans, the same filmmaker who gave us the film known as Terror in Silent Hill in 2006, returns to the director’s chair to deliver the adaptation of Silent Hill 2, whose premiere is scheduled for the end of 2023.
Synopsis: The saga is expanding beyond the world of video games. This is a message from the director and producer of the film adaptation project.
Silent Hill Ascension
Finally, this expansion of the video game world was announced as a new interactive series, where “the community will shape the canon” of the saga. July 27, 2023 is the indicated release date, although we will have to wait to find out on which platform we will see it.

Batman: Gotham Knights – Gilded City #1
