After focusing on her makeup, skincare, lingerie, and fashion brands, which have seen her rise to the title of America’s youngest self-made billionaire, and become a first-time mother, she finally RiRi is back to delight us with her unique voice.
The nine-time Grammy Award winner hasn’t released a new hit since her album. Anti from 2016, but after listening to their new song, we have to say that the wait was worth it!

Lift Me Up, a sweet and enveloping ballad, was co-written by Rihanna, Nigerian singer Tems, Swedish songwriter and producer Ludwig Göransson and the director of Black PantherRyan Coogler, in tribute to the one and only Chadwick Boseman, the main star of the saga, who passed away from cancer in 2020.
In addition, on the cover of the single, both the title of the song and the name of the singer of Diamonds are written in the Xhosa language, the same language spoken in South Africa, and by the characters in Black Panther.
The album that contains lift me up and other tracks from the tape will be released on November 4, while Black Panther: Wakanda Forever It hits theaters in Mexico and Latin America on November 10. Then we leave you the new Rihanna single, which we are sure will become your new favorite.
