The host of “Masked Singer”, Nick Cannon, assured that he supports his children in his own way and that he does not have a maximum amount set for them.
Cannon, 42, stated during “The Jason Lee Podcast” that he “is not in the child support system that is run by the government.”
The actor has 12 children with six different women: Mariah Carey, Brittany Bell, abby de la rosa, alyssa scott, LaNisha Cole and Bre Tiesiwhom he assured can have “whatever they want and what they ask for.”
“My money is theirs, my money is their money. My account is your account and there’s a lot there, so we’re not going to run out of anything,” Cannon said.
The fellow rapper has a net worth of $50 million and claimed he doesn’t “care” about protecting his money after having 12 children. “I think the real currency is your energy (…) I would like to be able to make a contract that says: ‘You can’t take that much of my energy when you leave,'” he said.
“Money comes and goes. I always tell people, ‘Money doesn’t make you happy. Happiness makes you money. So I’m always going to be good, and every dollar I earn goes to my family,” he stated.
Cannon’s children are: Moroccan and Monroe12 years old, GoldenOf 6, powerful2, Zion and zillionof 1, legendary10 months, Onyx8 months old, Rise7 months old, and Halo5 months.
The actor assured in November 2022 that he spends “much more” than three million dollars on his 12 children.
Cannon’s statements have been given after tiesi32, offered statements in the sixth season of Selling Sunset where he pointed out that the presenter would not have to pay his child support due to the large number of children he has.
“The way it works is, after 10 children, the court can basically say that he can’t pay child support (…) Because he is who he is, they could say: ‘We know that he can pay X amount for every home,’” he said.
