One of the voices that agree with Thanos to exterminate half the universe is the filmmaker James Cameron, who surrenders at the end of Avengers: Infinity War
One of the most commented events in the Marvel Cinematic Universe was the snap, or snap, where Thanos ended half of the planet’s existence, an act that has divided opinions, and a voice that in a certain way supports the Crazy Titan is James Cameron.

The filmmaker behind hits like Avatar, Titanic and Terminator has spoken out against superhero movies, even getting into a controversy with his colleague, Patty Jenkins, after the release of Wonder Woman in 2017.
Leaving behind the controversy with Patty Jenkins, Cameron revealed in an interview with Time magazine that one of the bold decisions in Marvel’s history was the end of Avengers: Infinity War, where Thanos ended half of the Universe.
“I identify with Thanos… I thought I had a pretty viable answer”.
Cameron supported the Mad Titan’s decision to randomly end half the universe, as that was the fairest thing to do for the conclusion of the plot.
“The problem is that no one is going to raise their hand to volunteer to be the half that has to go.”.
This premise of ending half of existence was not only supported by James Cameron. Within the MCU, some people also support the “Thanos was right” movement as seen in Hawkeye and Eternals.
