There is a little less than a month left until one of those that we count among the best series of 2020 returns. On March 6 HBO Max will premiere season 2 of ‘Perry Mason’ and we can already have a new trailer (after the first sneak peek) of what’s in store for the investigator-turned-lawyer on a new case.
As we see in these minutes of progress, the Mathew Rhys’s Perry Mason, Juliet Rylance’s Della and Chris Chalk’s Paul, they roll up their sleeves to investigate and get fully involved in “the trial of the century”. The brutal murder of a member of a powerful family linked to the oil industry will turn Los Angeles society upside down. Or, from what we see in the preview, it will be when suspicion hangs over the inhabitants of a shanty town in the city.
Season with team changes
Together with the main trio, the cast is completed with Shea Whigham, Eric Lange, Justin Kirk, Diarra Kilpatrick, Katherine WaterstonHope Davis, Fabrizio Guido, Peter Mendoza, Mark O’Brien, Paul Raci, Jen Tullock, Jon Chaffin, Onahoua Rodriguez, Jee Young Han, Sean Astin, Tommy Dewey, and Wallace Langham.
Jack Amiel and Michael Begler will be in charge of this season 2 from ‘Perry Mason’, which has marked its almost three-year hiatus after having undergone changes in the creative part. Shortly after this new season was announced, we learned that Rolin Jones and Ron Fitgerald were no longer at the controls of the series.
