To be sworn in, representatives in the United States Congress must place their hand on a copy of The US Constitution, but underneath this edition may be some personal items.
The legislator, of Peruvian descent, did not think twice and chose to use three highly relevant items, as he recounted on his twitter account.

Garcia is a huge Superman fan, and in his congressional campaign he used a logo with his name using a typeface similar to what we see on Man of Steel covers from 1939.
The United States Congress has in its collection thousands of editions of comics, including those that marked the beginning of the era of different characters, including those of the DC Universe.
Superman # 1 came to light in June 1939, and has five stories, all written by Jerry Siegel, with the strokes of Joe Shuster, where some fragments of the first issues of Action Comics are taken up.
