Bruce Springsteen is a very critical artist when it comes to works by rock groups and soloists, but now gave his opinion about the most popular album in the United States: Midnightsof the singer Taylor Swift.
A few days ago, during the program of Howard Stern, Springsteen gave details about how he heard this new production of the country-pop star: “The other day I went to the airport for my daughter; she is a fan of Taylor Swift to the max. She told me ‘Dad, Taylor Swift has a new record’ And she played it for me, blasting it, all the way from Newark to Colts Neck, dancing on her seat. She said ‘that’s what I like to see’. She felt good”.
As for the Bruce verdict for Midnights, was very clear: “It was good. She is super talented. I know her only a little. She is a tremendous writer and I know its producer very well Jack Antonoff. They make great records. There’s a lot of great work out there right now, people are still making great records, and they’re finding a lot of joy in those records…that’s going to continue.”
