The DC Universe is weeks away from changing with The Flash, and Andy Muschietti was in charge of raising more excitement for the next DC Comics movie, by talking about one of the most surprising cameos on this tape.

As reported by SMASH in August 2019, Andy Muschietti was chosen as the director of The Flash, after his work on the two It movies. In the second part, Muschietti landed a cameo role as Stephen King in one of the scenes. .
In addition to Ezra Miller, Muschietti confirmed that this film will see both Ben Affleck and Michael Keaton, both reprising their roles as Batman, with Keaton’s version getting the most screen time.
But the surprises did not stop, since more characters will join this plot, including some that will make their official debut on the big screen, as indicated by Andy Muschietti, who confirmed a great cameo in The Flash.
Muschietti’s great revelation
In an interview with the Middle East edition of Esquire, Andy Muschietti has confirmed that the film will see Superman’s cameo, played by Nicolas Cage, an actor he wanted to work with for a long time.
“Nic was absolutely wonderful. Even though the role was a cameo, he was immersed in it… I’ve dreamed of working with him all my life. I hope to be able to work with him again soon”.
Muschietti highlights Nicolas Cage’s great passion for Superman, a character he was about to play in 1998 in the film Superman Lives, which was canceled in 2000.

The Flash will feature performances by Michael Keaton and Ben Affleck, both as Bruce Wayne / Batman. The Flash will hit theaters on June 16, 2023.
