This Saturday the 37th edition of the Goya Awards were held in Seville and they are still making headlines. To the controversial debate that was generated around the physicist of Berta Vázquez and the distribution of statuettes, now there is a new plot that the actress Ana Fernández (‘The Protected’) has denounced through his Instagram profile.
The interpreter is characterized by not keeping quiet about injustices whenever there are any, which is why she has decided to join the claims of the gala: “As I see that so many issues are being claimed with respect to the Goyas (harsh criticism of outfits, physical changes, makeup or no makeup…) I encourage you to add another topic debate that has been experienced this year“, has begun by denouncing Fernández by giving us long teeth about a new cinematographic sauce.
Ana refers to the classism that is lived in the photocall and the blue carpet of the Goyas since, according to his account, there is a group of actors and actresses invited to the gala who do not enter through the main door with their media corridor, but are relegated to the back door.
The reason for the veto
“The prohibition that an interesting number of actors and actresses live through is something that seems to me absolutely pitiful and that the excuses that have been given are even more regrettable (previous request to enter the red carpet list, be an academic, that is, pay the feealthough some were and they were not allowed either, if you were not or you had missed the receipt, there was no solution because you must have done it six months ago… And I don’t know how many more excuses)”, he explained, pointing directly to the academy.
Ana is so annoyed by this situation that she even thought of reversing her assistance, although she finally looked for the people behind it and who had made her participation possible: “The outfits, the dresses from the designers that they have made with such care, the bird tickets, the hotel night were ready. So we had to push forward…”, he continued explaining about the week prior to the celebration of the Goya.
Overcrowded at the movie party
But it is not only a question of prominence in the face of the press, but they also have these “second class actors” in a separate room watching the gala: “The losers entering from the back, unseenyes, direct to the halls of the behind the scenes from different brands (it’s not their fault, they do a lot) like sheep, with a feeling of ridiculousness. What a pity that due to the shouting that is going on, you cannot even hear the gala on the two screens that are onnor the thank you speech from the award-winning colleagues, because supposedly, what the hell are we here for?”, Ana Fernández continued.
“They don’t even let us make a carpet because it doesn’t come out of therethey give us a good snack during the previous four hours to keep us encouraged and making videos and photos with the relevant hashtags and when it starts As is logical, 90% do not pay any attention to the prizes… Chachi”, has finished explaining the also protagonist of ‘Las chicas del cable’.
Ana has earned the applause of colleagues such as Vicky Martín Berrocal or Andrea Duro, who have positively assessed this act of courage: “The little I was able to hear about the gala seemed great to me, congratulations to the presenters and all the award-winning colleagues. Anyway Having said that letting off steam is always good, I realize that It only remains to laugh at these things and that of course there are infinitely more important issues. Happy week”, Ana has finished writing.
