The Vampire Hunter continues in the orbit of Marvel Studios, and the work on Blade resumes with a new director and a brand new screenwriter.
The Marvel Cinematic Universe expands its horizons in horror, and its goal is the big screen with the reboot of the Blade franchise, a film that already has a new director.

As we reported on SMASH in a timely manner, director Bassam Tariq and writer Stacy Osei-Kuffour have left the Marvel Studios project, which will star Oscar winner Mahershala Ali.
After an arduous search, The Hollywood Reporter site reports that the filmmaker Yann Demange will be the new director of Blade.
Yann Demange has been in projects like Lovecraft Country, a horror series that, although it had one season, achieved good reviews
While the writer Michael Starrbury will be in charge of the new script for the film that will present the vampire hunter in phase 5 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Starrbury was the writer of the series When They See Us, the script for which was nominated for an Emmy Award.
The cast of Blade was also joined by Delroy Lindo, as well as Aaron Pierre, whose roles are still unknown. The Vampire Hunter’s first adventure would also feature Kit Harrington, who could play Black Knight, after his alter ego Dana Withman debuted in the Eternals plot.
Filming for Blade will take place in the course of 2023 and its premiere is scheduled to arrive on September 6, 2024.
