The comedian’s death Paul O’Gradyat 67 years old, on March 28 left the middle of the show surprised.
Andre Portarsio, her husband, was the one who offered the unfortunate news and said that he died “unexpectedly, but peace.”
“It is with great sadness that I inform you that Paul passed away unexpectedly, but peacefully last night. We ask that, at this difficult time, that as you celebrate her life, you also respect our privacy as we come to terms with this loss. He will be greatly missed by his loved ones, friends, family, animals and all those who enjoyed his humor, wit and compassion,” was part of the statement published by Portasio.
A few days after one month of his departure, it has been revealed his death certificate, which states that he died of heart disease.
It is presumed that Paul O’Grady’s life-ending condition was related to his ischemic heart disease.
He sudden death syndrome due to arrhythmia (SADS) is when a person’s heart stops suddenly and unexpectedly and the cause cannot be found.
In his various autobiographies, the comedian revealed that his parents had died of heart problems and that he wished for a quick death so as not to suffer from a prolonged illness.
He also joked in the book thate was rejected from heaven the night he was technically pronounced dead after suffering the first of his three heart attacksleaving him convinced that he would never head to the afterlife.
“It’s not the actual death, the final croak, that bothers me, it’s the speed of it. Will it arrive fast? And will I know something about it? Speaking from experience, I’d prefer a good quick fatal heart attack to a long death any day. I don’t want to rot, slowly, before the eyes of my loved ones. I prefer to make a quick exit, ”wrote the comedian.
At age 65, Paul alleged that he had suffered three heart attacks, kidney failure and a coronavirus sus.
He suffered heart attacks in 2006, 2014 and 2022.
