The president of the capital Claudia Sheinbaum announced this Thursday that holds talks with the producers of Benito Martinez Ocasio -real name of Bad Bunny-, to offer a free show next year.
“Now the producers are being contacted directly to see what date Bad Bunny could come and be able to support this request made by the President of the Republic to obtain a concert in the Zócalo or in Reforma,” he says.
Previously, Sheinbaum had commented that he was already looking at the possibility of bringing Bad Bunny to the Zócalo, but that the dates were full.
If the news is confirmed, thousands of fans who had problems with their tickets to enter the Azteca Stadium or who could not buy tickets will have a second chance to see the interpreter of “After the beach”, “Ojitos lindos” and ” Dákiti”.
Prior to his concerts in Mexico City with which he closed his World’s Hottest Tour, Bad Bunny had announced that he will have a temporary retirement from music and the stage.
The Puerto Rican indicated that he would take a break to give time to his physical and emotional health. “2023 is for me, for my physical health, my emotional health to breathe, to enjoy my achievements. Let’s celebrate. We are going here, we are going there, we are going on the boat”.
