There is less (relatively) left for us to see season 2 of, which at the moment is the best Star Wars series made for Disney+. In the context of Star Wars Celebration Day, Tony Gilroy has assured that we will see the new episodes of ‘Andor’ in August 2024.
So there is a little more than a year left for us to see again diego luna again as the rebel thief Cassian Andor in this great spin-off of ‘Rogue One. A Star Wars Story’ and his role in the origin of the rebel alliance.

According to Gilroy, the season is still filming, which kicked off last November and will run until August 2023, so it will take a whole year to see the final result. Along with the announcement, those attending the event were able to enjoy a small teaser trailer that has not yet been released online.
In this preview it was possible to see both Mon Mothma (Genevieve O’Reilly) as Syril Karn (Kyle Soler) and a new hairstyle for Andor. In the words of Tony Gilroy, having already decided the ending has helped a lot when creating this season:
“If you know the ending, it really helps. We know exactly where we are going. You know what you have to give on an emotional level and what the story has to do. It’s a fraught survival decision, but it’s good for us creatively.”
