Film Library of Castilla y León

The Casa de los Abarca or Casa de los Doctores de la Reina is a 16th century palace that belonged to the Álvarez Abarca family, a well-known and influential family of the time, since They were the doctors of the Catholic Monarchs. So this Gothic and Renaissance style building, which has a mocha tower, has been declared an Asset of Cultural Interest. Currently it takes the headquarters of the Museum of Salamanca, where different objects distributed in three sections are exhibited: Fine Arts, Archeology and Ethnology.

Unamuno House Museum
After the death of the thinker and writer, the University of Salamanca adapted the Rectoral by returning, from his family home in Bordadores, the furniture and numerous personal memorabilia of Don Miguel and his children. Shortly before he died, Unamuno had donated his books to the University: nearly 6,000 volumes, kept in his personal library. These titles, displayed in the museum, can be consulted. In return, the university has taken care of what was his environment during the years that he served as Rector of the academic institution. To this end, the historical-artistic setting of the museum has been taken care of, trying to recreate the family and home environment in which he spent his life.
