Valentín Elizalde, also known as “El Gallo de Oro”, is one of the singers of regional Mexican music who, despite the fact that he lost his life after being killed by an armed command when leaving a presentation in the palenque of the Expo-Feria in Reynosa, Tamaulipas, Mexico, on November 25, 2006, his music and the charisma that characterized him continue to have an impact on his fans and even in the new generations.
Although a little more than 16 years have passed since his death, the legacy of his songs and everything that has to do with memories or things related to the Sonoran interpreter manage to cause a furor among users who are immediately filled with nostalgia and curiosity to know more about one of the genre’s most beloved singers.
That was exactly what happened a few days ago on social networks, when the TikTok account @randonauticarodeva2 shared an unpublished video in which Valentín Elizalde can be seen minutes before he died performing some songs during what was his last concert, filling with nostalgia to thousands of users on social networks.
In the video of “El Gallo de Oro”, hours before his death, the singer can be seen behind the scenes, while a voice and the sound of some roosters announce the artist’s entrance, to then begin his presentation with the theme Victor, one of the artist’s most popular songs. Accompanied by his team and finalizing details, while performing his single, Valentín goes on stage and appears before the audience to start his Show.
The last concert given by Valentín Elizalde ‘El Gallo de Oro’ before what happened.
In the recording it can be seen that at the end of interpreting his song, Valentín Elizalde greets and thanks the public for being present. Then there are videos of another couple of songs by the artist, such as the single Nothing, with moments that were lived during what they say was their last concert.
The video did not take long to go viral and fill with comments from users who, in addition to recognizing him as one of the best artists and idols of the Mexican region, assured that it was not his last concert, but another presentation made in Torreón, Coahuila. While a few others said that this video had already been shared a few years ago, so it was not new.
