Dafne Keen, actress who played X-23 in the movie Logan, revealed that Fox had plans to produce a solo film of the Wolverine heiress
One of the big revelations in the film Logan was the actress Dafne Keen, who played the small, but dangerous Laura, also known as X-23, a character whose character was intended to be produced in a spin-off film.
In an interview with Elle magazine, Dafne Keen revealed that in 2016 20th Century Fox executives were optimistic about producing a movie based on X-23, plans that would have been canceled with the end of the X-Men saga in charge of Fox.
“Some people at Fox told me there might be another[film]but this was a long time ago when we were shooting, and I’ve never been contacted since.”.

Keen noted that he awaits the call from Kevin Feige and the people at Marvel Studios to audition for the role of X-23, now that the next X-Men movies will be under the production of La Casa de las Ideas.
“I feel that we are at the beginning, there is more to tell and it is a relay race. I come into play when they’ve already written and done pre-production and decided to make the movie, so as soon as they say, ‘come over,’ I’ll happily come whenever.”.
The memory of Dafne Keen as X-23 in Logan
For Keen, who currently stars in the series, Logan represented her first challenge in Hollywood, and the young woman recalls that Hugh Jackman and Patrick Stewart were great mentors on set.
“Hugh and Patrick really shaped me as an actress. Just seeing them on camera was amazing. They made me feel really comfortable on set. I had an amazing time, never felt like working. I never wanted to leave the set. They taught me a lot”.
Keen has a high regard for Hugh Jackman, of whom he left a great impression.
“I remember seeing how humble Hugh was around everyone really made me think, “If I ever get famous or whatever, I don’t want it to go to my head and I want to be as humble and grounded as Hugh is.””.
