You may like it more or less, but I’m pretty sure you know what I mean when I name ‘Pasapalabra’. The program began its broadcasts on Telecinco and is now part of the Antena 3 programming and with a brilliant Roberto Loyal as your presenter. In fact, it has become one of the longest-running spaces on television and has been adapted to numerous countries on the globe.
For the clueless, the contest consists of a repertoire of tests where the participant makes use of their mental and linguistic abilities in order to accumulate points to reach the final round. This is where it comes into action the famous donutwhich, if completed, achieves the check loaded with money. The last to win was Rafa Castaño, in March, and received a whopping 2.2 million euros.
After the departure of Castaño and Orestes, his eternal rival, a new contestant has captured the attention of viewers. We refer to Fernando Castro, whose debut has been a heart attack since he has been on the verge of winning the jackpot of 388,000 euros. However, what has shocked the public has been the young man’s brilliant resume.
It was Roberto Leal himself who announced it at the top of his lungs during one of the programs: “You are studying for a doctorate in Statistics and Genetics, you work at the USC -University of Santiago de Compostela-, as a researcher and also at the IDIS -Santiago Health Research Institute”, explains the presenter, causing laughter from the participant, who, in turn, must juggle when it comes to organizing so many agendas.
