We woke up with unfortunate news and it is that he has passed away at 71 years of age American actor Treat Williams. The actor suffered a tragic motorcycle accident in Dorset, Vermont (United States) this past Monday afternoon, from there he was transferred to a hospital in Albany, New York.
Born in December 1951, Williams is best known for two major roles: that of George Berger, the leader of the hippie tribe in ‘Hair’, directed by Miloš Forman; and like the doctor Andy Brown in ‘Everwood’, a drama created by Greg Berlanti that aired between 2002 and 2006.
They were not his only outstanding roles, he was also the protagonist of ‘The prince of the city‘, by Sidney Lumet, for which he was nominated for a Golden Globe; ‘Seduced‘ together with Laura Dern and already in the 90s we saw him as Captain Finnegan in ‘Deep Rising: The Mystery of the Depths‘.
On television, in addition to ‘Everwood’, we have seen him in recent years in ‘Chicago Fire’, ‘American Odyssey’, ‘Chasepeake Stories’ and ‘Blue Bloods’, among others.
