Karen Salas is a Mexican who has earned the admiration of many for being an example of determination.
The story of this Mexican girl is going around the world, because instead of asking her parents for a fifteenth birthday party, as is customary in Latin America, she asked them to help her have her own business.
She is currently known as one of the youngest businesswomen in her country, thanks to the recent opening of her local “Manzamanía”. This unleashed praise and applause from users on social networks.
But this was not the beginning of her company, since she began selling apples informally before. She had always dreamed of having her own business and now it has come true.
In accordance with I am Carmine, the teenager had a talk with her parents, since she wanted the money that they would normally use to organize the party, to be invested in her business. Although her parents doubted at first, they ended up agreeing when they saw her daughter’s decision.
“Set things up, the 15-year-old party lasts only one day. Yes, we were planning it and after a month I said “no thanks, I’d better start a business” and a month ago the opportunity arose, and here we are! “, He expressed to the same medium.
Karen is not new to sales. Since she was 7 years old, she began her first attempts in the world of commerce, selling her delicious decorated apples on the streets. She went from door to door and in shopping mall parking lots in Ciudad Obregón, Sonora, and later in Tijuana, Baja California, where she lives, offering her products.
“I wanted to start my own business on the dessert island so that I would no longer be selling out in squares and so that they can find my desserts in a fixed place,” said Keren, who has the support of her parents to run the business, which she plans expand to other branches.
“A girl is born with a restlessness, with a charisma, with a desire to eat the world and not eat it bite by bite, eat it in one slice, my girl wanted to sell,” said her mother.
