What many rock fans have wished for decades could come true very soon, since various media have revealed that Ringo Starr and Paul MCCARTNEY -former members of the Beatles– would have collaborated in the band’s new production The Rolling Stones.
Variety reported that during the sessions for the album -still untitled- carried out in Los Angeles, tracks of the bass and drums of Paul and Ringo would have been recorded, respectively, although it is not known if they would be for one or several songs on the album, which is in the mixing phase and is produced by Andrew Wattresponsible for hits by artists such as Justin Bieber, Dua Lipa and Elton John.
The members of The Rolling Stones and The Beatles have always maintained what they themselves call “a friendly rivalry.” The topic “I wanna be your man”released in 1963 and which was the second single in the extensive career of the band led by Mick jagger written by John Lennon and Paul MCCARTNEY. As for the expected new album, it will also include songs recorded a few years ago with the drummer charlie wattswho passed away in 2021.
