After ‘Cyberpunk: Edgerunners’, Netflix He’s already looking for his next video game-inspired blockbuster animation, and we may have it in our sights soon.
During the summer it was already confirmed that ‘Dragon Age: Absolution’, a series based on the Bioware saga, was underway, and now the platform has confirmed its release date and cast with a new trailer with much more chicha.
Gathering the adventurers
The plot of ‘Dragon Age: Absolution’ is going to move away from the main conflict of video games (or so it seems) to show us an original adventure set in the world of Thedas that can be seen on the platform from December 9.
“When a coup against the most powerful man in Tevinter goes awry, an elf mercenary named Miriam is thrown into a desperate fight to survive. Now, to save herself and her friends, Miriam will have to face the tragic past she’s been trying to escape a lifetime”, describes the official synopsis of the series.

Ki Yongbaeanimation director ‘The Witcher: The Wolf’s Nightmare’, is directing the new Netflix series, with Mairghread Scott as showrunner and head writer. ‘Dragon Age: Absolution’ is produced from Bioware and Red Dog Culture Housewho have also participated in ‘Love, Death + Robots’ and ‘The Heavenly Officer’s Blessing’.
Along with the best look yet at the characters, the cast of ‘Dragon Age: Absolution’ has now been confirmed, including Kimberly Brooks, Matthew Mercer, Ashly Burch, Phil LaMarrSumalee Montano, Keston John, Josh Keaton and Zehra Fazal.
