In case we had been orphaned by “warm places” on television after the presumed end of ‘Ted Lasso’, we have great news. HBO has renewed for a season 3 ‘Somebody Somewhere’, the tender dramedy starring Bridget Everett.
The news comes just a few days after the broadcast of the end of the second season of the creation of Hannah Bos and Paul Thureenwhich has been quite covered because it coincides with those of ‘Barry’ and ‘Succession’ (and, well, it was much less seen than both).
‘Somebody Somewhere’ follows the story of Sam (Everett), a woman trying to fit into the mold of her hometown and her group of friends, especially her relationship with Joel (Jeff Hiller), who becomes his best friend. During the seven episodes of this past season 2, we have seen them both in a comfortable place and in a moment of great tension due to vital changes in their lives.
True Kansas
We have not been able to talk about this second season but, like the first, it is still one of the most comforting places and warm that current television has with a genuine distribution of friendship according to what age and the feeling of belonging.
The cast of the series is made up of Bridget Everett, Jeff Hiller, Mary Catherine Garrison, Murray Hill, Jane Brody, Mercedes White, Kailey Albus, Meighan Gerachis, Tim Bagley, Jennifer Mudge, and Barbara Robertson.
