    Although we still have a few weeks left to officially say goodbye, the entry into the month of September invites us to think about saying goodbye to a summer of 2022 that has once again delighted us with a good assortment of summer blockbusters. But the world is not ending, because this Friday the 2nd the movie theaters are once again loaded with a good portion of premieres which we will review below.

    The premieres of September 2, 2022

    ‘Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero’ (‘Doragon boru supa supa hiro’, 2022)

    • It is the first ‘Dragon Ball’ movie made using mostly 3D animation, except for flashbacks.
    • It is written by Akira Toriyama, who began to shape his script as soon as the development of ‘Dragon Ball Super Broly’ finished.
    • The film is directed by Tetsuro Kodama, who makes his feature film debut after signing the series ‘Ganbare! Lulu Lolo – Tiny Twin Bears’.
    • The film has made Android 21, the villain of the video game ‘Dragon Ball FighterZ’, canon.
    • ‘Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero’ debuted in the United States occupying number 1 at the box office and dominating with great authority, confirming that it is one of the most desired anime titles by the fandom.

    ‘Three thousand years waiting for you’ (‘Three Thousand Years of Longing’, 2022)

    • It is directed by George Miller, the filmmaker behind the ‘Mad Max’ saga, ‘The Witches of Eastwich’ and the animated family film ‘Happy Feet’.
    • Its cast is led by two names of authentic luxury: Idris Elba and Tilda Swinton.
    • Miller has again cajoled cinematographer John Seale, who came out of retirement to shoot ‘Mad Max: Fury Road’ and has returned for the occasion.
    • The film explores and embraces the literary canons of works such as ‘A Thousand and One Nights’ and wraps them in a unique visual treatment.
    • It is based on the short story ‘The Djinn in the Nightingale’s Eye’ by AS Byatt.

    ’42 seconds’ (2022)

    • It is co-directed by Alex Murrull and Dani de la Orden, responsible for ‘Barcelona, ​​summer night’, ‘Litus’ or ‘Elite’.
    • It is a sports drama based on real events set in the Barcelona 92 ​​Olympic Games and focused on the Spanish Water Polo team.
    • Its cast is made up of performers such as Jaime Lorente, Álvaro Cervantes, Molly Malcolm or Àlex Maruny.
    • The photography is in charge of Pau Castejón, who signed ‘Hogar’ and has worked on video clips for international artists such as ‘Dua Lipa’, ‘Billie Eilish’ or Taylor Swift’.

    ‘The quiz’ (2022)

    • ‘The test’ is also directed by Dani de la Orden, who is doing double duty competing against himself at the box office.
    • It arrives at our cinemas after passing through the Malaga Festival.
    • It is based on the play by Jordi Vallejo, who has adapted his own work to a screenplay.
    • Its cast is headed by Alberto San Juan, Miren Ibarguren, Blanca Suárez and Antonio Resines.
