The Penguin version of Colin Farrell already has an opponent for control of Gotham’s crime when Sofia Falcone arrives, who will be played by Cristin Milioti.

If you remember the movie, Carmine Falcone is killed by the Riddler, and with this death, Cobblepott is left in charge of his organization, something that will start to move all the criminals in the city for the control of all movements.
The site Deadline reports that Cristin Milioti, the actress who starred in the series Made for Love, joins as Sofia Falcone, the counterpart of Oswald Cobblepott, which will unleash a bloody war for the control of crime.
So excited, welcome Cristin! (And Happy Halloween!) 😀🦇🐧🎃 https://t.co/S7Q3tl5moN

This incorporation was confirmed on his social networks by director Matt Reeves, who will be part of the creative team and will serve as executive producer, alongside Colin Farrell.
This is not the first time that Sofia Falcone has come to a live action series, since in Gotham the actress Crystal Reed played this woman of crime. Reed also starred in 2018’s Swamp Thing.
What will we see in Penguin?
Penguin, the project’s working title, will pick up right where The Batman ended, with part of Gotham City under water after the explosions caused by Edward Nashton.
The Batman producer Dylan Clark has spoken about Warner Bros’ spin-off series on Penguin, which will star Colin Farrell as Oswald Cobblepott.
“We’re doing one with Colin (Farrell), watching Oz rise to power, almost like a Scarface story… It’s exciting to do something like that alone, but it speaks to the character and our movie, so you’ll go back to the movie and say, ‘ Oh I see that backstory there, that line refers to this”.
There is still no release date for Penguin, a series that will arrive through the digital platform HBO Max.
