If you still miss The Adventures of Fly, you can’t miss Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai, which has already premiered in Mexico.
The otakus of the nineties enjoyed The Adventures of Fly. However, this anime classic was left without an end, but finally rejuvenated and arrives with voices in Latin American Spanish to win back viewers. That’s right, the Anime Onegai platform by Animeka added Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai to its catalog completely dubbed into Latin American Spanish.
Do not stop reading: The Witcher anime will deal with the origin of Geralt’s mentor
In the nineties, Dai, then known as Fly, starred in a series of the same name that, although it was also broadcast on open television in Mexico, unfortunately did not have a conclusion. Three decades later, the project materialized as a new opportunity for those people who waited so long and also for the fans who joined in these years, because they will have the ending they so richly deserve.
Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai is an anime based on the famous fantasy role-playing video game franchise of the same name. The series follows the exploits of Dai, a young warrior and mage-in-training on a quest to become a hero and grow stronger to combat the malevolent forces plaguing his world led by the Dark King, Vearn.
The origin of Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai
Both this version and the one issued between 1991 and 1992 were inspired by the manga with 350 chapters and 37 compilation volumes that was published in Japan by the publisher Shueisha in its Weekly Shonen Jump magazine from 1989 to 1996 and in Mexico by the extinct Editorial Vid. The manga was written by Riku Sanjo and illustrated by Koji Inada.
The title, released in 2020 in Japan, is produced by the Toei Animation studio and is currently broadcast with more than 90 chapters on the TV Tokyo channel signal.
In Mexico and Latin America, Anime Onegai por Animeka coordinated efforts with Toei Animation and Square Enix, the games developer, to make localization, translation and dubbing work possible, which ensures quality voices.

DC Adventures – The Swamp Kid’s Secret Notebook
“Anyone caught reading this notebook without my permission will be thrown into the swamp with a rabid snapping turtle!
“I’m serious!
“My name is Russell Weinwright and if you guys think you’re having trouble in high school, try being a half-boy, half-swamp creature who’s also terrible at sports! Is not easy. I eat sunlight at lunch, have grass for hair, and think maybe a frog is living on my tree trunk arm. I am literally pond trash! Some kids call me the Swamp Kid, but my best friends, Charlotte and Preston, keep me sane.
“I wish I could let you read this notebook and get the real experience of being an 8th grade misfit (please ignore the doodles and ketchup stains!), but things have gotten a little crazy lately. There are men in black who are spying on me; my science teacher may be an evil mastermind, and a hulking beast in the bayou may or may not be my super swamp mentor. Trust me, you don’t want to know! Run away now!”
This is The Swamp Kid’s Secret Notebook by writer and illustrator Kirk Scroggs. They will never look at high school the same again.
