In recent days, a post on Twitter went viral, where the host and comedian, Mauricio Castillo criticized a television interview with tenoch orchardin which the Black Panther actor accuses the “injustices” that exist against the underprivileged classes in different facets of society, one of which is film and television.
Castillo played the video of the interview and criticized Huerta’s statements, writing: “This man needs therapy. Really”. After the post, many people went against the ex of Otro Rollo and claimed that he was not empathetic with him.
But there was not only a reaction on the part of Twitter users, fans of Mexican cinema and followers of Tenoch Huerta. Also, the actor himself sent a message on his Instagram account, where he reiterated that the theory of “échaleganismo” does not exist and does not benefit the less privileged classes.
In the video, Tenoch Huerta talks about the difficulties that people who do not belong to a privileged class have to go through in order to grow. On different occasions he has said that he is an exception, but that “people who are not white” are never considered to have opportunities.
For this reason, the Black Panther 2 actor sent a message through his Instagram account and in one of his stories he put a message comparing “privileged people” with those who are not. He charged that “the children of the elite” do not have to work as hard to succeed.
He said that the idea of ”échaleganismo” is “a racist and classist tax for those of us who are not from his circle of power.”
