American rapper with Mexican and Puerto Rican origins Tekashi 69 has been in the midst of controversy in recent weeks. In an interview on the program ‘El Gordo y La Flaca’, he talked about what his musical career has been like and He was honest about the opinion he has of some artists like Anuel AA.
He openly talked about his relationship with other Latino artists. Regarding El Alfa, he said that he did not have time to make any meetings with him and in the case of Anuel AA, against whom he had attacked a few days ago while drunk, he said that he considers him a hypocritical person.
“Anuel as they say, I had nothing to talk about that guy, but he is a hypocrite. He badmouths a bunch of people and then they’re friends. He talked about Maluma and then he is making songs with Maluma“, he sentenced.
In the conversation with Lili Estefan and Raúl De Molina, the artist whose real name is Daniel Hernández and who has achieved success in the United States, He talked about how difficult it is to be a rapper with Latino roots in the American entertainment industry.
From your point of view, it would be a very difficult market in which there would be an “internal classification” that disqualifies Latinos from being able to penetrate and have acceptance in between rappers and the public.
“It has to be brown, it has to be black; It’s not being racist or anything, but that’s the way culture is. I can tell you names of brown rappers until the show is over, but it won’t be able to be a Latino. Nobody wants to talk about it because it is the truth. If you are born Latino and you don’t know any Spanish, they won’t let you be a rapper in English because they already put you in a box.” explained.
Tekashi also broke the silence about what happened the day he received a terrible beating at the hands of several men in a Miami gym.. In addition, she promoted her new single in Spanish called ‘Bori’ with the singer Lenier. The lyrics of the song are about the story of Tekashi 6ix9ine.
