If you were a good observer, you noticed that at the masquerade party one of the guests wore a hat with wings, similar to the one worn by Jay Garrick, the first Flash in the history of the DC Universe.
This reference that the team headed by Tim Burton placed in this sequence was not intended to indicate possible future projects, including the crossover of DC heroes was not thought of until 2016 with Batman v Superman.
