RBD, a musical product that emanated from the Mexican version of the Argentine telenovela “Rebelde”, is one of the most popular Spanish-speaking groups of the 2000s, and since it was announced that their reunion was about to take place since past December 19, 2022, his streams increased more than 150% on Spotify.
Millions of fans in the Americas began to review their hits on the streaming platform, which, let us remember, was not regularly available in the Spotify catalog due to rights to their discography. It was not until September 2020 that all the materials of the sextet were incorporated, both in Spanish, Portuguese and live versions. The public embraced their successes with great enthusiasm and the songs added 60 million listeners in the first seven days on the platform.

Mexico is the country that listens to RBD the most globally, followed by Brazil and the United States. The Mexican band continues to generate emotions among listeners of various generations, and 50% of their listeners on Spotify in the last month are users who are under 27 years old.
The cities where they listen to RBD the most are:
- Mexico City
- Santiago de Chile
- Lime
- Guadalajara
- Bogota
Noting that the tour will not visit the Peruvian, Chilean or Colombian capital, where fans beg for the interpreters of “Tras de mí” to visit those metropolises, however, the list of nations to visit has not been expanded by the group.
Most listened to RBD songs on Spotify:
“Save me”
“Just stay quiet”
“This heart”
“Behind me”
“To be or to seem”
To no one’s surprise, Anahí’s ballad is the most listened to of the group, as well as other great successes that made RBD a continental phenomenon and that reached places as far away as Spain, Romania, Slovenia and Serbia.
